"Rock Your Birth" Childbirth Preparation Classes:
Small group classes.
Emphasis will be on helping you and your support person understand what's going on in labor in a
moms body, and what to expect as a team. Learn about common interventions and their risks and benefits.
Discuss birth plan content and decision making process. Each couple will also be scheduled a private session
to discuss your specific needs, ask personal questions and practice relaxation techniques more thoroughly.
Small group 4 weeks plus a private session: $150
Private 3-4 hour Crash Course: My Classroom: $95, Your Home: $120 **Schedule varies based on need. Evening, weekend and daytime classes available.**
"Best Birth Partner" Class:
Private classes.
This class is three hours and is private for you and your labor support person(s). A great follow
up to any group class or a great hands-on refresher course for experienced couples. I will help you
write a birth plan. You will learn what tools you might want to have on hand as well as how and when
to use them. Practice positions, techniques and relaxation. A perfectly private place to ask all those
questions you just couldn't ask in a group setting. My desire is to build your confidence in each other
and help you work as a team and be well equipped and prepared to have the birth experience you desire.
Private Class includes momma and all her chosen support people: $80
If you prefer, I will come to your home: $95
**May be scheduled for evening, weekend, or daytime.**
Long Distance or Drop-in Support:
I discovered the value of this when clients moved unexpectedly during pregnancy. They were
unable to find and hire a doula in their new city. Even local couples will benefit from this
service option. I offer phone and/or skype support for those who have taken the Best Birth
Partner class. (available long distance via skype) During your labor and immediate postpartum
period, you will have 24/7 access for reminders, tips and decision making support.
Phone support: $60 In person local visits: Additional $25/hour (great if partner needs a break)
Ankle treatment:
This is especially helpful if your ankles are puffy or achy, but is a fantastic relaxation experience!
Includes an Epsom salt foot soak, exfoliating scrub, your choice of cooling peppermint or soothing
lavender massage and relaxation time. I'll even paint your toes and apply a decal if you'd like!
First visit $35 * Follow-up visit $25 * Doula clients $20

Belly Casting:
At this time I only do the cast and preparation for decor. I can do the casting privately in your
home or mine. If you’d like to make a party of it we can have a girls night in or baby shower.
You can choose what part you want casted, just belly or belly and bust. Either way your modestly is
totally respected. Some choose to hang the cast in the nursery, others make it into a bowl, perhaps
to hold towels by the sink or diaper changing supplies on the changing table. The ideas are endless!
The fee for the casting is $60. This includes the supplies, casting session, sanding and drilling of holes
for hanging ribbon if needed. I will also apply a clear finish and a coat of paint if you desire.
Gift Certificates:
I will print up a gift certificate in any amount for Doula service fees, Ankle treatment or Belly casting.
When family or friends ask for gift ideas, send them to me for a gift they know you will love!
Simply have them email me at shannonmydoula@gmail.com and tell me who it’s for, amount and
which service. I can email the certificate for them to print or pass it on to you myself if they are not local.
Birth Plan Writing:
I will meet with you and go over all your options for a hospital birth. Having attended nearly seventy
hospital births, I am quite familiar with the best way to word and design a well received and respected
birth plan. We will make sure you understand the risks and benefits of each choice and write a plan
based on your specific needs and desires. I will type it and email it to you for printing. Revisions can be
made any time until you are confident with it.
$50.00 (Free for doula clients) Review and edit of your existing plan without visit: $20.00
